Henriette [latest_crocodile]

A local Minimech player best known for her building and design talent. She's participated in a number of build contests, but prefers making mechs that both look good and perform well in-game, something that most build competitions don't properly account for. Because of this, she's not really associated with one particular machine or even playstyle, especially given relatively weak performance as a pilot. Though she observes matches more frequently than she participates in them, it's not out of a lack of interest- she'd like to improve, but doesn't like competitive tournaments. Alternative "challenge" rulesets and casual matches are far more her speed, but even then she's content to let others use her mechs and show them off instead of doing it herself. This is especially true for rulesets that enforce drinking- as far as she's concerned, the audience is the true winner in those types of event.

She is a caffiene-powered gremlin on a first-name basis with practically every model and parts store in the whole city, and not solely due to the volume of her orders. Despite the city's universal basic income and the additional revenue she makes off of commissioned builds and a series of "how-to" videos funding most of her acquisitions, she still takes on courier work to shoulder the cost of rarer kits or waves of new releases. Some of her building talent seems to have crossed over into mechanical know-how, as she delivers packages with an ancient-looking, heavily-modified Lucertola (think a Fiat 600 or Volkswagen Beetle). Despite the age of the model and its compact form, she's able to haul a decent amount in the little two-seater... be that cargo for a job, or the latest kit releases.

It would seem as though fate itself is conspiring against Henri, as it is thoroughly impossible for her to escape the reptile allegations. The evidence is mountainous- her vehicle of choice being an old foreign model called the "Lizard" when translated, her callsign being Iguana, even her favorite shade of green and the deep, slightly croaky qualities of her voice all serve to reinforce the connection. She's more or less given in and accepted the correlation, even playing into it with her online handle. Most read it as a failed pun, but Henri specifically went for "latest" as in being on the cutting edge, and "crocodile" because she thinks of them as more smug than alligators.
